El Bombero USA (“El Bombero,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates elbomberousa.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site, place an order, create an account, sign up for our emails, or contact us; how we use and share that information; and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
You must be 21 or older
The Site sells premium cigars and cigar accessories. You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase from us, create an account, or subscribe to our emails. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe someone under 21 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Order and account details: your name, billing and shipping addresses, email address, phone number, and the items you purchase. If you create an account, we also keep your login credentials and order history.
- Payment information: card and payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment processors (WooPayments, which is powered by Stripe, and PayPal). We receive confirmation of payment and limited details such as the last four digits of your card; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Age verification: your date of birth and, where required by law or by our verification provider, information needed to confirm that you are 21 or older.
- Email sign-ups: your email address when you subscribe to launch updates, new pieces, and El Bombero stories.
- Communications: anything you send us through our contact form, by email, or by phone, including support requests, feedback, and product reviews.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information from your device, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring website, the pages you view, the time you spend on them, and the items you add to your cart. This information is collected using cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, which are described in the Cookies section below.
Information from other sources
We may receive information about you from our payment processors (for example, payment confirmation and fraud screening results), shipping carriers (delivery status and signature confirmation), age verification services, and advertising platforms (aggregate reporting on how our ads perform).

- To process and fulfill your orders, including payment, shipping, adult-signature delivery, and order updates

How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described below.
- Service providers: companies that help us run the Site and fulfill orders, including payment processors (WooPayments/Stripe and PayPal), shipping carriers and shipping label services, our email platform (MailPoet), our contact form provider (WPForms), website hosting, security and site statistics (Jetpack by Automattic), and tax calculation services. These providers may only use your information to perform services for us.
- Advertising and analytics partners: we may use tags and pixels from Google, Pinterest, Reddit, and Snapchat to measure our advertising and reach people who may be interested in El Bombero. These partners may collect information about your visit through cookies and similar technologies and combine it with information they hold about you. Some state privacy laws treat this as “sharing” or “targeted advertising.” See “Your choices” below for how to opt out.
- Legal and safety: when we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, or legal process, including requests from tobacco regulators and tax authorities, or when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of El Bombero, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers: if El Bombero is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of its business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With your direction: when you ask us to share information, for example when you send a gift to another person.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. The Site uses:
- Essential cookies that make the Site work, such as the cookies that remember what is in your cart, keep you logged in, and secure the checkout.
- Analytics cookies that tell us how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
- Advertising cookies and pixels from the partners listed above, which help us measure our ads and show relevant ads on other platforms.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of the Site, including the cart and checkout, may not work. The Site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

- Marketing emails: use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send, or contact us. We will still send you emails about your orders and account.
- Your account: log in to review and update your name, addresses, and email, or contact us to make changes for you.

- Interest-based advertising: you can limit ad personalization through your Google ad settings (adssettings.google.com), your Pinterest, Reddit, and Snapchat account privacy settings, and industry opt-out tools such as optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about you; to access, correct, or delete that information; to receive a copy of it in a portable format; to opt out of targeted advertising or the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information; and to not be treated differently for exercising these rights. You may also have the right to appeal a decision we make about your request.

You may authorize someone else to submit a request on your behalf; we may ask for proof of that authorization.
How long we keep your information
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy. Order records, including age verification records, are kept for as long as tax, accounting, and tobacco regulations require. Marketing information is kept until you unsubscribe. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted (SSL/TLS) connections across the Site and payment processing by PCI-compliant providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Links to other sites
The Site may link to other websites and social media platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review them.
Visitors from outside the United States
El Bombero is based in the United States, and the Site is intended for customers in the United States. Any information you provide is processed and stored in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, post a notice on the Site or email you. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
