El Bombero — A tribute to the brotherhood

Dedicated to the 343. Never forget.

My name is Daniel Nina, and I have proudly served as a firefighter with the Elizabeth Fire Department since 2012. This cigar, El Bombero, meaning the firefighter in Spanish, represents the two greatest passions of my life: the fire service and the culture of smoking fine cigars.

This cigar and its beautifully crafted box are more than a product. They are a symbol of honor, pride, sacrifice, and tradition.

El Bombero is dedicated to the men and women who wear the turnout gear, who answer the call when others run away, and to our 343 brothers who gave their lives on 9/11 — heroes whose legacy will never fade.

In their memory, a portion of the proceeds from every El Bombero cigar will be donated to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, supporting families of fallen and injured first responders.

I hope you enjoy this cigar surrounded by your brothers and sisters, the ones who understand the job, the laughter, the pain, and the bond. And when the smoke settles, I hope you keep this box as a reminder of the fire service, the courage behind the badge, and the brotherhood we swore to protect.

Thank you for your service. Stay safe and enjoy El Bombero.

– Daniel Nina

To my fellow firefighters

El Bombero was created by a firefighter, for firefighters. It’s more than a premium cigar — it’s a tribute to the brotherhood, sacrifice, and pride that come with wearing the badge.

Every detail reflects the fire service and the memories we carry with us. The collection is designed to keep that connection visible — at the station, around the table, and in the moments shared with your brothers and sisters.
Stay tuned as El Bombero grows into a collection built around the people, symbols and traditions that make the fire service unlike anything else.

Stogie Press Review

El Bombero Cigar
RATED 93 on Stogie Press

Stogie Press put both sizes of El Bombero to the test and scored the Toro a 93 and the Robusto a 92. The Toro earned praise for its cream, almond, and cinnamon spice; the Robusto for its bold pepper and earth. Behind the smoke: a call box marked 343, a firefighter’s mission, and proceeds supporting the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
